Point Noyo Restaurant & Bar – Front of House Manager/Host – 6/2015 – 6/2017
Coordinated greeting and seating in a 130+ seat Dinner House with potential of 200+ seating during peak season. I can handle high stress and multitasking using Open Table Online Reservation System, operating and management over a Harbor Touch P.O.S. System and monitoring a 16 camera system for viewing everything in the restaurant which includes monitoring front of house (restaurant & bar) and back of the house (all kitchen stations) and outside parking lot.
The Cliff House of Fort Bragg – Captain/Manager – 6/2014 – 1/2015
I oversaw the Front End Staff (restaurant) at The Cliff House of Fort Bragg, which consisted of wait staff and bussers in a 200+ seat restaurant with approximately 15 employees under my supervision. I trained and assisted in making sure the restaurant ran smoothly. I also oversaw inventory of the wines.
Stevenswood Lodge – Night Hotel Operations Manager – 7/1999 – 6/2014
My Duties consisted of front desk operations, answering telephones, taking and making reservations (for the lodge, restaurant and Indigo Eco Spa) assisted in guests needs (customer service), performing check-ins, concierge duties and assisted the restaurant as host and cashier. Other duties included designing and running the Stevenswood Newsletter, running our online blog (InnTouch) and assisted with marketing ideas and implementation, checking the grounds and the interior for maintenance and re-supply, monitoring the water systems and health requirements for both drinking water and outdoor spas.
Heritage House – Maitre D’/Reservation Clerk/Concierge/Bellman –5/1982 – 7/1999
Over the many years I had many different duties, including dining room set-up as well as greeting and seating guests, helping with dining room operations, reservation clerk which included answering telephones, cover break relief, checking guests into the resort, posts deposits, concierge duties and also bellman which included duties as delivering ice, wine, cards, balloons, room moves, escorting, describing and assisting guests to their rooms.
I enjoy the great outdoors, sports, cars and motorcycles, gardening, cooking, exercise and walking.
